Beauty is only skin deep. By identifying and removing usability barriers, I will give you confidence that your web pages are as accessible as they are beautiful.
Accessibility reviews range from general usability advice to full-on WCAG audits.
My methodology employs both manual and automated tests. I audit your web pages against both global accessibility standards and the practical accessibility needs of real people.
Many people come to Web Accessibility from teaching or support backgrounds. I come to it as a Front End Developer. This gives me a unique appreciation for the barriers that exist between getting an audit done and getting change implemented in a meaningful way.
My mission is to rethink the review process, working to make it more collaborative, supportive and successful. I’d love for you to come on this journey with me.
I have over 20 years of experience developing website interfaces.
I am familiar with all aspects of Front End Development, including:
- Responsive design
- Navigation systems
- Manual and Automated Testing
- Content Management Systems
- Design & Wireframing
- DevOps & Toolchains
I can quickly spot problems in the underlying code and I know the difference between a ‘valid’ code fix that targets an extreme use case and a general usability fix that helps everyone.
My motto is: ‘keep it simple’.
