Do The Right Thing is about ‘doing the right thing’ when it comes to building web sites.

Do The Right Thing is maintained by Dan Smith. I’m a Wellington-based front-end developer by day and a music maker by night (except when I’m blogging on here). In my experience this is a pretty common combination of activities.

I also like to take pictures. The banner image above was taken somewhere in Spain (I think). It features a herd of (probably) cows being (probably) herded through a field of wind mills. Wind mills are everywhere in Spain, and they are starting to pop up in quite a few places in New Zealand too. As a bit of a greenie, wind mills fit my concept of ‘doing the right thing’ so this image seemed a good match for the site.
