The Christchurch Recovery Map is getting good press at the moment. Launched by a motivated team of IT volunteers, the site has become a great source of information for the residents of Christchurch, who were hit by a devasting magnitude 6.3 earthquake last Tuesday.

It’s a great example of intelligent people coming together to use technology in a selfless and positive way.
